Dude... this is awesome. Just as whimsical as you characters. I hope it's the first of many more..!
This composition seems like it would benefit from having the bottom 2 inches cropped off...lots of interest given to the foreground stairs, but nothing there to see except the bare slats. Maybe put a dude on there, travelling upward? Anyway, the image itself looks great.
